SEN

Swanton Morley Primary School is a successful school that works hard to meet the needs of all children. Our primary aim is for the children to enjoy their time here, learning through a wide and varied curriculum that provides real life context and experiences.

Introduction

Welcome to our Information Report which is part of the Local Offer for learners with Special Educational Needs (SEN). All governing bodies of schools have a legal duty to publish information on their website about the implementation of the governing body’s policy for pupils with SEN. SEN at a Cluster Level

As a school, we buy in to Cluster SEN support.

The role of the Cluster SENCO is to act as a critical friend and support to SENCOs in participating schools. They are there to offer a different perspective, ideas or to signpost if they are aware of other services the school could engage, as well as being a fellow professional to discuss ideas with.

Individual schools retain the responsibility for the provision for children with SEN and additional needs in schools, and the cluster SENCO is not responsible or accountable for the provision or outcomes for children in any school.

If you have any questions about the provision for your child, then please direct these to your own school SENCO.
