Camping at Garvestone with Year 4
Once again Mr Vokes took the year four children into the wilds of Norfolk on their annual camping and survival skills expedition. Thankfully the weather was warmer than last year, with day time temperatures in the twenties (rather than the single figures of May 2013). Much fun was had by all and the children learnt some valuable life skills such as: gutting fish, making bread from scratch, cooking on open pit fires, making shelters, navigation and map reading skills.
The three days flew buy and some rather dirty and smelly looking children were returned to parents on the Friday ready for a good bath!
